Westchester Black Nurses Association
The Westchester Black Nurses Association (WBNA) is a local chapter of the National Black Nurses Association (NBNA). We are a professional organization of Atrican-Amercican Nurses from Westchester County, New York and the surrounding counties. Our goal include, but are not limited to the following: 1- Exploing health care needs that impact African-American and working towards improving health care of the African-American community, 2- Recruting, supporting and mentoring African-Amercian men and women into nursing, 3-Networking with fellow nurses and collaborating with professionals,community organizations, schools, and churches. Membership is extended to RNs. LPNs, and nursing students. As a memeber you will participate in community outreach, health fairs, health screenings, educational and mentoring programs.
