Reporting directly to the Director of Health Services, the nurse practitioner is responsible for evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and education of students seeking primary health care and emergency care. Provide consultation to registered nurses. Provide health care to the Jesuit community, pre-employment physicals and initial treatment of injured employees.

BASIC FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNP) provide medical care and pre/post op surgical care to critically ill and convalescent infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). NNP’s assist and direct resuscitations of unstable infants, including in the delivery room. NNP’s provide family centered care and treat the infant and the family as a unit.
