The University of Southern Maine's College of Nursing and Health Professions invites applications for three full-time, nine month faculty appointments within the School of Nursing (SON). Successful candidates must be able to teach across the undergraduate and graduate curriculums within the candidate’s area of expertise. Expertise in advanced practice, adult, pediatrics, or women’s health is preferred. Selected candidates will participate in scholarly activities and engage in service to the University, community and profession.

The Acadia Professorship of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing

The University of Maine School of Nursing invites applications for one full-time tenure track or tenure eligible faculty position in psychiatric-mental health nursing beginning September 2009 or when a suitable candidate is identified. This titled appointment is in partnership with The Acadia Hospital, the first free-standing psychiatric hospital to achieve Magnet status. University of Maine responsibilities include teaching, academic advisement, participation in School and University committees, and scholarship.
