Allen College seeks applications for a nursing faculty position, full- or part-time, beginning August 2008 primarily in the MSN program in a newly developed Adult/Gerontological Nurse Practitioner (A/GNP) track. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with academic credentials, teaching experience and scholarly work. Ideal candidates will hold a doctorate in nursing or related field, a master's degree in nursing, be nationally certified as an adult nurse practitioner, and have experience in teaching and mentoring graduate students.

The University of Iowa College of Nursing seeks a tenured senior faculty member to serve as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. This position is responsible to the Dean and provides creative leadership in the promotion of excellence in undergraduate and graduate nursing education. The role encompasses oversight of and accountability for academic and student affairs, directing faculty with respect to the nature of nursing and the structure of educational programs, and is ultimately accountable for the quality and currency of the nursing curriculum.

St. Ambrose University Department of Nursing invites applications for the position of Director of the BSN program. Responsibilities for this tenure-track faculty position include faculty recruitment and development, budgetary management, curriculum development, scheduling BSN and RN-BSN programs and program assessment. Teaching responsibilities include one course per semester. Qualifications include a doctoral degree in nursing or a related field. Although an earned PhD is preferred, applicants who are ABD will be considered.
