The Money Makers
Hello! My name is Cassandra Wilson. I am 20 yrs old and I was so excited to make an account with MN. I was given an old Fall 2007 or 2008 edition of MN awhile back and I was so entrigued by it. There was so much great information about AIDS/HIV, warning signs of a possible heart attack and much more. Ever since then I have enrolled in the Kirkwood Community College pre BSN program to become an RN. I am so psyched about it. I am even considering buying a laptop so I can access your website more often other than just while I am at work. I honestly think it is FAB-U-LOUS that there is a classy website specifically for minority nurses. Nurses in general, I feel, need to be given more creit for all that they do for the public. I am also a licensed Esthetician (skin care specialist) and have decided that for a specialty I would like to do cosmetic/plastic surgery. While I was getting my education for esthetics this past winter, I became very interested in Botox, body lifts, sclerotherapy (spider vein therapy,I had to do a paper on it),tummy tucks and so on. So I have 2 questions for you all: Is there anyone on your staff who is employed in this field who could give me some insight, and would you happen to have a list of some of the better paying specialty areas for an RN? Because I'm all about the money--but also the education it takes to get there.
Anxiously awaiting your response,
Cassandra
