Adult Catheterization and Electrophysiology Laboratory

The UIHVC is seeking a Full-time Staff Nurse in the Adult Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Lab. Must have ability to respond to on-call within 30 minutes.

Requirements: Associate Degree in Nursing; minimum 1 year telemetry; 1 year recent critical care and/or cardiac catheterization laboratory nursing experience; current license to practice nursing in the state of Iowa; ACLS and BCLS certifications; excellent written and verbal communication skills; and general computer skills necessary.

Desired: Experience with EKG monitor interpretation; recognition of pressure waveforms; knowledge of sterile techniques and comprehensive knowledge of cardiovascular systems are desirable.
