College of Nursing
The College of Nursing offers the following teaching and training opportunities:
• Clinical Instructor
• Teacher
• Lecturer, Assistant Professor
Qualifications:
• BSc with specialization or post graduate diploma, Master or Ph.D. in Nursing in any of the following fields:
o Medical Surgical Nursing
o Obstetric & Gynecology, Midwifery
o Critical Care Nursing
o Nephrology Nursing
o Community Nursing
o School Health Nursing
o Pediatric Nursing
o Psychiatric Nursing
o Oncology Nursing
o Orthopedic Nursing
o Primary Health Care Nursing
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years clinical and 3 years teaching experience for masters and Ph.D. candidates and a minimum of 5 years clinical experience for Bachelor degree holders.
General Conditions:
1. A minimum of a second class lower bachelor’s degree in nursing for UK and Europe or a grade point average of 3 out of 4 and 6 out of 9.
2. Post graduate nursing qualifications should all be in the same nursing specialty.
3. Information Technology (IT) experience is compulsory. International computer driving license (ICDL) is required before or within employment process.
Employment for the Ph.D. holder is assistant professor. Employment order for the master’s degree holder is a gradient of teaching rank, based on experience and qualifications.
