The University of Cincinnati is currently accepting applications for a Visiting Instructor Of Clinical. One year visiting faculty position to teach didactic courses and clinical experiences in the Undergraduate and Graduate Programs. Individual may serve on College committees. Must be MSN prepared. Applicants with experience in FNP is preferred. Prefer candidates with experience in teaching in a higher education institution. Visiting rank will be determined by the candidate's credentials, background and experience.
Job Description: On a Full-time limited term basis the Visiting Clinical Faculty Member's primary responsibility is patient care, patient support, and/or teaching and program development in the clinical sciences. May also contribute to clinical research, the scholarly and service missions of the university, administrative service, and other educational activities, expectations for which may be described in letters of appointment and in their unit reappointment and promotion criteria.
Minimum Qualifications: Academic degree in an appropriate discipline and prior clinical and teaching experience.
Position Qualification: Must be Master's prepared in Nursing or meet the requirements for faculty under Ohio Board of Nursing Administrative Code Chapter 4723-5. Must have at least 2 years experience in the practice of Nursing as a registered nurse. Must have demonstrated current clinical experience. Must have active unrestricted RN license in the State of Ohio.
