Job Summary: Under general direction of Director of Urologic Oncology, coordinates and manages clinical trials in Department of Urology. Participates in all aspects of clinical trials, working with faculty PIs and potential sponsors, submission/renewal of protocols and required documentation to Internal Review Board (IRB), to actual performance of the trial(s). Conducts interviews with study patients in clinic, screen and consent participants, and collect data in compliance with established study protocol. The collection and processing of specimens and administration of study drug for trials and for clinic Urology patients. Develops and establish process for review and oversight of all clinical trials conducted by department investigators, ensures study protocols are followed, appropriate documentation is kept, and accurate data is collected. Liaison between UC Irvine IRB Board, UCI Contracts & Grants, Department Business Office, and various outside organizations and/or sponsors. Requires current California RN License and current CPR certification. Knowledge of research methodology, statistical techniques and data analysis. CCRC certification recommended.
Salary: Hourly $37.14Work Schedule: 8-5, M-FCareer Position.
