Job Description:
Full- time tenure track position for a nursing faculty member with experience with adult learners and background in community and integrative health for RN to BSN, Advance 2 BSN and MSN programs.

West Chester University is seeking applicants for an Assistant or Associate Professor of nursing faculty position in the BSN and MSN programs. Rank is dependent on qualifications. This full-time tenure track position starts in fall 2009.
Responsibilities:
The full-time tenure track faculty member will provide clinical and didactic teaching to adult learners at the undergraduate level in the RN to BSN and Advance 2 BSN programs. Graduate level teaching with a focus on community health nursing will also be required. The faculty member must also demonstrate continuing scholarly growth compatible with the teacher-scholar model, and contribute service to the university and/or community.
Requirements:
1.) Graduate degree in nursing
2) Graduate degree must include specialization in community or public health nursing or public health
2.) Evidence of clinical expertise in Community/Public Health Nursing
3.) Teaching experience.
4.) Eligibility for RN licensure in PA
5.) Evidence of matriculation and significant progress in a Doctoral program of study.
Finalists must successfully complete interview process and teaching demonstration.

Preferences:
1.) Earned doctorate
2.) Adult learner teaching experience in an RN to BSN or fast track program.
3.) Graduate teaching experience.
4). Integrative Health teaching experience.
