Tenure Track Faculty
Our innovative BSN program seeks creative full-time tenure track faculty members who are passionate about teaching, and who have a commitment to diversity and learning-centered education. Linfield’s nursing curriculum provides a quality education derived from a liberal arts foundation and nursing theory and research. It is designed to be applicable to both prelicensure students and the returning registered nurse seeking a baccalaureate degree.
Tenure track faculty may teach theory, clinical or both dependent upon programmatic needs and candidate expertise. They have student advising and department and college responsibilities. Teaching excellence is paramount to the faculty role at Linfield, and a commitment to professional engagement, scholarly productivity in one’s discipline, and service to the college and nursing profession is expected.
Must have at least three years experience in nursing and be eligible for Oregon licensure. Doctorate in nursing or related field preferred and required for tenure. Candidates who have documented evidence of excellence in doctoral course work and degree trajectory will be reviewed. Depending on doctorate, a master’s in nursing may be required. Evidence of effective teaching at the baccalaureate level preferred.
Review of applications begins immediately; applications received before February 21, 2014 will
receive full consideration.
Follow instructions on the website link below to submit an online application, a letter of application, curriculum vitae, and three current reference letters addressed to Dr. Mallie Kozy, Dean and Professor.
