Methodist Dallas Medical Center (515-bed tertiary) seeks applications for the position of Senior Vice President of Nursing/Chief Nursing Officer. The CNO reports directly to the President of Methodist Dallas Medical Center, Michael Mayo, and is responsible for providing clinical and administrative leadership for nursing at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. The CNO will develop and articulate the vision and strategic direction for the practice of nursing and provide management direction and leadership to patient care areas in order to achieve hospital goals and objectives. Additional responsibilities include planning, budgeting and oversight of patient care delivery. The position will be responsible for approximately $194 million in gross revenue, 6 direct reports and 821 FTEs.

The hospital is the main teaching and referral center for Methodist Health System and one of the leading teaching and referral centers in all of Texas. The facility features all-private rooms, and the medical staff includes more than 300 physicians with expertise in more than 60 medical specialties.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned nursing executive with a track record of nursing leadership with increasing administrative responsibility within an acute care hospital setting required.
