RN Maternity Nurse Coach - TELECOMMUTING

We currently have nationwide FT and PT positions available as a telephonic Maternity Nurse Coach.
PT: 4 hour shifts available Monday-Friday (20 hrs/wk); hours of work will range between the hours of 2:00pm – 9:30pm ET; also rotating every 4th Saturday
FT: 8 hour consecutive shifts available Monday-Friday (40 hrs/wk); hours of work will range between 1:30pm-10:00pm ET or 2:30pm-11:00pm ET; also rotating every 4th Saturday
Split shifts available Monday – Friday (40 hrs/wk), working 4 hours in the morning/early afternoon and 4 hours in the evening ET; also rotating every 4th Saturday

Our Maternity Nurse Coach teams have the unique opportunity to educate and support our pregnant members through individual telephonic coaching. This team is vital to supporting the success of each member's pregnancy, and we give you just the right place to be able to do exactly that!
This exciting program focuses on the primary goals of:* Helping to lower the incidence of preterm births * Helping to decrease occurrence of low birth weight infants and NICU admissions * Helping to improve the ability of pregnant women to recognize signs and symptoms of complications and empower them to seek medical attention if necessary * Helping to reinforce and support the physician's plan of care and improve adherence to prenatal and post partum appointments * Offer assistance with any antenatal or postpartum depression concerns through referral to our Maternity Depression Program.
Position qualifications include:
*Current, unrestricted RN license from applicable state; preferred that candidate reside in Nurse Licensure Compact state
*Ability to be licensed in multiple states on a timely basis
*2-3 years clinical obstetrics experience including high-risk antepartum
*Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong organizational and motivational skills required
*Private home office dedicated to WellPoint work with high-speed internet connection
*Bilingual Spanish English preferred
This position requires on-line pre-employment skills assessments. The assessments are free of charge and can be taken from any PC with Internet access. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements will be contacted via email with instructions.
