Established in 1981, Bestcare is a licensed home health careorganization that provides comprehensive home health care services to theclients we serve. Bestcare provides quality home care services to residents of allboroughs of New York City, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties.
Bestcare currently has an opening for an RN to serve as a Training Instructor/FieldSupervisor inour Staten Island, New Yorkoffice.This position is primarily a teaching position to train students to become Home Health Aides and Personal Care Aides.
Conduct Bestcare's NYS DOH approved Training Program ensuring the required hours andcontent of the program has been met.
Supervision of client care given by all professional and paraprofessional fieldpersonnel.
Conduct required In-Service training and skills demonstration forparaprofessionals.
Maintain accurate and complete records of all classes taught, aide evaluations,and statistical reports.
Ensure all supplies and materials are maintained in order to conduct preciseand proper training.
Conduct supervised practical training visits to observe the trainee's skillscompetency.
Attend quarterly RN meetings and participate in our Quality Assurance Program.
Must have Current NYS RNLicensure.
Minimum two (2) years'nursing experience with one (1) year home care experience.
Bi-lingual A+ (Spanish)
Bachelor's degree ispreferred.
Possess good communication skills and ability to act as a mentor and resourcefor paraprofessional staff..
