Job Description
Mercy College of Health Sciences, a private college in Des Moines, Iowa, has an opening for a program chair for the ASN and BSN programs (face to face and online) within our School of Nursing. Mercy College has over 110 years of educating health care professionals.
Responsibilities include overseeing the academic curriculum, its integrity, alignment to courses; monitoring student outcomes; advising students; assigning faculty workload and teaching assignments and, with the Dean of Nursing, serve as liaison to the College community, accrediting agencies and represent the College at relevant organizations. Some teaching assignments will be required.

Qualifications include a PhD or EdD in a related field; Master's in Nursing or Nursing Education; 5+ years experience in teaching in higher education; demonstrated knowledge of online education, curriculum design and assessment of student outcomes. Experience designing and implementing new programs preferred.
