The College of St. Scholastica is seeking to fill an undergraduate faculty position in St. Cloud preparing students for entry level generalist practice. This is a nine – month, tenure-track negotiable faculty position in the post-baccalaureate nursing program with expertise in medical-surgical nursing. Position begins August 2014. Candidates must be able to collaborate, contribute to and participate in fostering a culture of inclusion in support of college diversity goals.
Nine-month contract with teaching responsibilities across three semesters (fall, spring, summer). Online theory, skills/simulation lab coordination and clinical teaching responsibilities with adult learners in an accelerated program. Responsibilities include professional activity and college and community service.
Master’s Degree in nursing is required Demonstrated cross-cultural communication skills and multicultural competency Demonstrated experience interacting effectively with diverse students, faculty and staff
Doctoral degree in nursing or related field is preferred. Excellent verbal, written, and IT communication skills. Teaching and professional experience is preferred.
