We are currently seeking Physician Assistants. These positions are 36 hrs. per week, variable shifts, including evenings, nights and weekends. Your duties will include:
- Evaluating the status of any assigned inpatient by complete history and physical exam or follow up treatment;
- Ordering appropriate tests and studies for patients;
- Reviewing patient charts, writing progress notes and completing other medical record documentation;
- Evaluating and administering appropriate care of medical patients in the Emergency Room or other clinical units at the request of medical attending or Emergency Room physician
Requirements Qualifications include: Graduate from an AMA accredited physician assistant training program. Current CT Physician Assistant license and NCCPA certification. CT Controlled Substance Registry. Previous experience as a Physician Assistant in Medicine or Cardiology required. Must possess critical-thinking skills and problem solving abilities and be responsive to patient and clinical needs. Successful candidates will be customer service focused with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Flexibility in scheduling is a must.
