Job Description:
Examines and evaluates patients upon referral from a physician, podiatrist, dentist, or nurse practitioner. Plans and implements specific treatment for patients to reverse impairments, restore function and facilitate development of skills essential for adaptive and productive living. Participates in PI and physical therapy clinical education programs. Provides care to all patients in accordance with patient's age and developmental status.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, master's degree, or doctorate in physical therapy from an APTA accredited school of physical therapy. Licensed in the State of New Jersey. Successful completion of all Orientation Programs CPR certification

Among Saint Barnabas' nationally recognized facilities are The Burn Center, the only certified burn treatment facility in the state; the Saint Barnabas Health Care System Renal Transplant Center, which performs more transplants than any other facility in New Jersey, New York, Boston or Philadelphia; The HEART HOSPITAL of New Jersey, a world-class cardiac surgery program in affiliation with Newark Beth Israel Medical Center; and the Regional Perinatal Center, providing care for high-risk and critically ill infants in New Jersey's leading 50-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
