Integrated Health Care (IHC) is a nurse-managed center of the College of Nursing at the University of Illinois at Chicago in partnership with Mile Square Health Center and Thresholds, the oldest and largest psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery center in Illinois for individuals with serious mental illness. (SMI).
We are seeking 2 part time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practioners (PMHNP) to become members of a dynamic and pioneering team of advanced practice nurses providing high quality primary and mental health care to clients with severe mental illness at our IHC South location at 734 W. 47th Street in Chicago.
Primary responsibilities include psychiatric assessment, psychotropic medication management and therapy in addition to teaching undergraduate and graduate nursing students.
Qualifications: Minimum 1 years’ experience as a PMHNP. Master’s Degree in nursing specializing as an PMHNP, licensed as an APN in the State of Illinois.
