Job Description:
Summa Health System, in Akron, Ohio is currently seeking an experienced professional to lead its Oncology Service Line.
The incumbent will establish and lead the strategic direction for Summa Health System’s Oncology Service Line.
The Oncology Service Line encompasses multiple technologically advanced facilities including the Jean and Milton Cooper Cancer Center, a 60,000 square-foot comprehensive cancer center which offers advanced diagnostics, treatment, support and research services all under one roof. The Cooper Cancer Center represents the next generation of Summa Health System's outstanding ability to provide comprehensive cancer care services that meet the unique needs of each patient and holds one of the highest ratings by the American College of Surgeon’s Commission on Cancer.
The selected candidate will have experience within a complex health system and expertise in developing and leading a profitable service line. This leader will have demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic programs and initiatives, policies and procedures, as well as standards and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff and community members. The individual will collaborate and facilitate an interdisciplinary model of care delivery supported by evidence and nursing theory, based on biological, physical and psycho-social sciences.
Requirements include:
BSN with Masters Degree in Business or Health Administration or related field
Licensed to practice Nursing in the State of Ohio
