Designed with the needs of working adult students in mind, South University’s Health Science classes are built around the same curriculum offered at our campus locations. All master’s, bachelor’s and associate’s level online courses in Health Science provide a strong foundation of general studies that include mathematics, physical sciences, language arts, and the social sciences. You will receive the same degree, quality instruction, variety of learning options and level of service found at our campus locations. At South University, online learning is more than just an online classroom – we deliver a range of campus experiences and services online, including advising, tutoring, student community, and career services.
Nutrition Science - Online Full Time Faculty (Graduate), South University
This is an ONLINE FULL TIME FACULTY opportunity. Instruct and facilitate meaningful learning of the course competencies in the curriculum and proactively support all facets of the online learning environment to support an exceptional student experience. Provide career education through learner-centered instruction that will enable graduates to fulfill the evolving needs of the marketplace. Encourage a culture of learning that values and strives to achieve mutual responsibility, life-long learning, student persistence through individual courses and an entire program, diversity, and ethics as well as personal and professional development. Possess qualifications to teach a variety of classes within the specified program area (four courses per academic quarter). This position also includes additional responsibilities (as assigned) related to mentoring to online faculty, participating in curriculum and course development, participating on various academic committees and special projects.

• Participates in curriculum and course development and improvement projects as assigned.
Position Requirements:
• Doctorate degree.
• 3+ years experience college-level teaching experience.
• 3+ years work-place experience directly related to the subject domain.
• 6+ months of online teaching experience with excellent teaching skills as evidenced in prior teaching evaluations.
• High-level technology proficiency, with relevant software proficiency as required by the specified subject domain.
• Willingness to work in an accelerated learning format teaching four courses per academic quarter and to work online with students on a daily basis for five of seven days per week.
This is a remote position and you must have the ability to work from home.
