Frederick Community College, a premier student-centered learning college where students, faculty, and staff work together for student success seeks a dynamic individual for the position of Nursing Tutor/Mentor Coordinator to facilitate academic and clinical tutoring and mentoring for students enrolled in the clinical component of the Associate Degree and Practical Nursing Certificate programs. You will collaborate with all nursing faculty teaching in the didactic and clinical setting to establish, provide and or facilitate tutoring and mentoring needs for all students. The position also involves teaching or facilitating the teaching of application classes for all nursing courses in both the day and evening-weekend options. This is a grant-funded, 10 month full-time faculty position. To qualify, applicants must have a Master’s degree with a major in Nursing and two years recent experience in medical-surgical nursing. Previous classroom/clinical teaching preferred. SALARY: $50,000 per year. Open Until Filled.
