Resource Lab assists College of Nursing to focus on student success and to help students achieve their educational goals to provide top-quality education. Resource Lab plans, organize, coordinate, and provide educational support to Associate Degree of Nursing program as well as Bachelor Degree of Nursing program.
The incumbent of this position is responsible for: • Assists nursing students in class or in the Resource Lab; • Supervises students in the clinical setting for focused and individualized instruction. • Controls and coordinates usage of laboratory equipment and media to meet student and instructional requirements; • Coordinates instruction in Simulation Lab; • Serves as resource person to assist students in assignments; • Works with community agencies in related nursing activities; • Assesses student skills in coordination with instructor; • Teaches students nursing skills and assists students in practicing skills. • Provide coverage for faculty in clinical teaching when necessary
Applicant must have strong skills in computer and technology; also willing to learn different electronic medical record documentation systems
