Nursing Lab Educator

The Department of Nursing at The University of Scranton is recruiting for a Nursing Lab Educator. This is a full time twelve-month staff position that is full benefit eligible. The position is for one year only. This is a great opportunity to become part of the nurturing culture of the University and help guide future nurses.
The Nursing Lab Educator teaches and supervises students in the campus nursing laboratory. This position assists the students in reaching the course objectives through lab simulation activities. The Nurse Educator will work closely with students and will play a major role in the success of the nursing students and their lab objectives. Responsibilities include utilizing lab equipment and supplies, administering and correcting student examinations, demonstrating the use of technology to students and assisting faculty with patient simulation labs.
Minimum Qualifications:Masters Degree in Nursing from an NLNAC or CCNE accredited program, three (3) years of clinical experience within the past five (5) years, and must be eligible or currently licensed to practice nursing in Pennsylvania.
Must have the passion, patience, and skills to assist in educating college age students
Preferred Qualifications:Expertise in running patient simulation scenarios
