Nursing Lab Coordinator

Job Description:
Assists in establishing, evaluating and directing the Nursing Learning Resource Center activities. Initiates nursing policy formulation and participates in decision making. Facilitates the use of the various laboratories in the NLRC using scheduling software. Participates in practice lab sessions by observing, critiquing, and evaluating skills performed. This position also evaluates equipment quality and need for repair; and inventories, dispenses, and stocks lab materials and equipment.
Qualifications: Baccalaureate-prepared nurse with 3-5 years of teaching/practice experience. Must possess competency in scheduling and tutorial skills, and be able to operate audio/video recording devices. Knowledge of computer based media programs to enhance skill learning. Experience or interest in learning about simulation. Must have an RN license and be CPR certified.
