Great Basin College is seeking a nursing instructor for a tenure track position for its Associate of Applied Science (ADN) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programs. The position is available with a first report date in August, 2013. The successful candidate must perform within the areas of classroom and online instruction, clinical oversight, and practice lab oversight. A recent background in clinical nursing and previous instructional experience are desirable. Experience in distance education methods (online and interactive video) is desirable. The position will be located at the main Elko campus of GBC. GBC is particularly seeking an instructor with a doctoral degree appropriate for the position. A Master’s degree, such as an MSN, will be considered, but there must be a commitment to pursue and acquire an appropriate doctoral degree within a negotiated period of time. GBC has a grant-in-aid program for support toward achieving a further degree. Qualifications:
