Job Description:
Full-time classroom and clinical instruction in a variety of psychiatric nursing theory classes and clinical settings. Specific teaching assignments may include nursing fundamentals or other nursing course assignments depending on background and experience. Responsible for curriculum enhancement and assessment of student learning outcomes at the course and program levels. Master’s degree in Nursing with major in Psychiatric Nursing required. Minimum two years employment experience as a Registered Nurse in psychiatric nursing required; work experience as a registered nurse educator preferred. Experience teaching psychiatric nursing theory and clinicals preferred. Valid and current license to practice Nursing in the state of Michigan, Ohio Nursing license also preferred. Base salary $61,085. Review of applications begins May 1, and continues until filled, position begins August 2009.
