California State University East Bay invites applicants for a tenure-track geriatric/medical surgical faculty position in the Department of Nursing and Health Science.(Positions:14-15 NURS-GERIATRIC/MEDICAL SURGICAL-TT). The department, situated in the College of Science has accredited basic baccalaureate and RN-BSN programs. Program graduates have a history of strong NCLEX performance. The Department has a reputation for producing highly skilled health professionals and enjoys supportive relationships with regional healthcare facilities. Given the need for healthcare providers in the San Francisco Bay area, there is strong potential for expansion of programs.
We are seeking candidates with doctoral degrees and successful teaching in a BSN program and clinical experience in geriatric/medical surgical nursing; and a California RN license (or eligibility), and must demonstrate a commitment to mentor students from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds.
