Chaminade University of Honolulu (www.chaminade.edu) invites inquiries and applications for two new nursing faculty positions for the fall semester, 2014.
We are searching for two full-time, non-tenure track faculty members to teach in the area of Children and Family Nursing and Health Assessment. Responsibilities include course and curriculum development, didactic and clinical teaching, student supervision, and evaluation of students in a BSN program. The successful candidates shall hold a minimum of a master’s degree in nursing with one year of nursing experience in the area of teaching responsibility. A doctorate, 3-5 years of teaching experience, and education in curriculum development, evaluation, and teaching methods is preferred. The successful candidate must hold a current Hawaii RN license or have the ability to obtain one.
As a faculty member for the nursing program, one position will be responsible for the development of nursing students in the areas of children and family nursing and the other in health assessment.
