Metropolitan State University is seeking applicants for a full-time, tenure-track, nurse practitioner faculty position in the School of Nursing (SON) to begin August 2014. The position includes teaching in the undergraduate and graduate programs including the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) required. Candidates are expected to be committed to holistic nursing practice, multiculturalism and working with a diverse student body.
To be considered for tenure in the fifth year of hire, candidate must have made substantial progress toward a doctoral degree or have completed a doctoral degree (e.g., DNP or PhD).

Salary: Salary is commensurate with education and experience, and is determined by the salary placement process as outlined in the Inter Faculty Organization (IFO) Master Agreement
