Job Description:
Allen College seeks applications for a nursing faculty position, full- or part-time, beginning August 2008 primarily in the MSN program in a newly developed Adult/Gerontological Nurse Practitioner (A/GNP) track. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with academic credentials, teaching experience and scholarly work. Ideal candidates will hold a doctorate in nursing or related field, a master's degree in nursing, be nationally certified as an adult nurse practitioner, and have experience in teaching and mentoring graduate students. At a minimum, applicants must hold a master's degree in nursing and be eligible for ARNP licensure in Iowa, hold national certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, and be committed enrolling in a doctoral program.
Commitment to teaching, service and scholarship essential. Interest in program development and distance learning a plus. Salary is competitive and commensurate with credentials. Additional information about Allen College may be found at www.allencollege.edu.
