The faculty position will be a 9-month, full-time position. Salary and rank will be based on experience and credentials. This faculty will be responsible for classroom, clinical, and simulation instruction and academic advising. Adult health, mental health, rural health, medical-surgical, or geriatrics clinical emphasis is preferred. Experience in teaching in a baccalaureate or higher degree program preferred. The faculty member will report to the site Director. Travel will be required.
The successful candidate will have a current, active, unencumbered RN license with privilege to practice in South Dakota or be eligible for licensure in South Dakota. Exceptional written and verbal skills are essential with the ability to incorporate technology into teaching and learning. An earned doctorate in nursing or related field is preferred. Candidates with a Master's degree in Nursing with appropriate experience will be considered. A commitment to the principles of equal opportunity, diversity, and affirmative action is necessary.
