The College of Health professions is seeking applications for a 9-month, tenure track faculty position which includes teaching and related responsibilities in the graduate and undergraduate nursing programs within the School of Nursing. Faculty members also have professional responsibilities which may include advising students, orientation and registration of students, participation in University committees, keeping regular posted office hours (which are scheduled at times convenient for students), and participation in traditional functions which have academic significance. Faculty members may be required to teach off-campus.
Required: Master's degree in Nursing. Completion of a Doctorate degree in Nursing (PhD or DNP) is required to stand for tenure (preferably one year before tenure application). Current licensure as a Registered Nurse; Valid driver's license. Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience; previous teaching experience as a clinical or didactic instructor.
