New Jersey City University is the premier cooperative University in the State. NJCU is a culturally diverse institution serving 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students. The College of Professional Studies is currently hiring for the following positions in our Nursing Department:

FACULTY

Anticipated Vacancies: Fall 2009
Assistant/Associate Professor
Clinical/Laboratory Coordinator
Anticipated Vacancy
Master of Science in Nursing from accredited institution required.

Assistant/Associate Professor
Accelerated BSN Program
Anticipated Vacancy
Master of Science in Nursing from accredited institution required.

Assistant/Associate Professor
Program Coordinator
Accelerated BSN Program
Doctorate preferred but must be obtained within five years of appointment.

All positions require the following:

* Current New Jersey State Nursing License at time of hire
* Employment experience in clinical specialty
* Previous teaching experience
* Demonstrated technological competence
* Commitment to diversity among faculty, staff, and student body

ADJUNCT FACULTY

ADMINISTRATION

Anticipated Vacancy: July 2009
Assistant to the Dean
Will work with Dean and staff to achieve goals of the College, with particular emphasis on the nursing department. Master’s degree required; RN or BSN degree a plus.
