The State University of New York at Geneseo seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the Lauderdale Center for Student Health and Counseling for a full-time, 10 month position.
Health & Counseling is a student centered, AAAHC accredited facility. The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide clinical services to SUNY Geneseo students. This includes primary care of college students and first aid to others as needed. This position works in collaborative practice with the Medical Director and other Lauderdale Center for Student Health and Counseling clinicians.
Required Qualifications: Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistants working in Health Services must hold a NYS license in good standing as a mid-level provider; 1-3 years of experience as an NP/PA, preferable in primary care or in an ambulatory setting.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with college-age patients in the community setting or health promotion preferred.
