We are currently seeking a Nurse Director in our 28-bed Adult Surgical Unit where our nurses provide care for surgical patients, excluding ortho/neuro.
In this key role, you will be responsible for the daily activities and operations for the Adult Surgical Unit. You will coordinate patient care across the wellness-illness continuum and will be accountable for meeting patient care outcomes within an appropriate length of stay and established standards with appropriate use of resources.
The Director serves as an active member of the health care team in collaboratively planning and facilitating care with a full interdisciplinary team. Particular attention is focused on maintaining high standards for customer service, care provision, and contributing to sound financial outcomes.
BSN required or commitment to obtain within six month of appointment. Current Maryland RN license, CPR certification, and a minimum of 3 years of current clinical experience in Adult Surgery required. Certification in specialty area preferred.
