The primary purpose of this position is to provide nursing leadership as it pertains to the implementation of the NFP model in programs across the assigned region. The Western Region Nurse Consultant Manager coordinates the efforts of NFP National Service Office (NSO) Nurse Consultants assigned to the Western states.
This position works out of a home office or at the NFP National Service Office in Denver, Colorado. If home-based, the person filling this position must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin or Wyoming.
Responsibilities include supervising up to nine staff distributed across these states, and extensive travel (estimated at 50 to 75 days per year) is required.
