We are currently seeking the following professional to join our team:
NEONATAL FOLLOW UP NURSE
Reporting to the Manager of the Neonatal Follow Up Program, this position assumes primary responsibility for home-based early intervention services for a caseload of high-risk NICU graduates and their families, including health monitoring, developmental monitoring and intervention, case management, parent education and parent support.
In addition to CA RN licensure and public health nursing certification, you must have a bachelor’s degree in nursing; 1-2 years’ pediatrics experience; knowledge of typical and atypical infant health and development conditions, specifically pre-maturity and other high-risk neonatal medical conditions; familiarity with parent-child relationships, family dynamics, case management techniques and community service systems; and demonstrated skills in the assessment and intervention of high-risk infants and their families. We prefer candidates with 3-5 years’ experience in pediatrics. Neonatal follow up, NICU and/or public health nursing experience is a plus.
