MENTAL HEALTH NURSING FACULTY POSITION: One full-time tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank for candidates who have completed all doctoral coursework or full-time lecturer with Master’s Degree that can convert to a tenure track upon completion of doctorate. An earned Master’s degree is required; an earned doctorate preferred. If ABD, candidates will be required to complete the doctoral degree by August 2016. A Master’s degree in Nursing is required for appointment as full-time lecturer with enrollment in doctoral degree program required. Sustained progress in a doctoral program will be required for retention and must be completed no later than August 2019. Candidates must be eligible for licensure by California Board of Registered Nursing. Candidates are required to have a minimum of two years of recent cumulative clinical and or teaching experience in mental health nursing. A minimum of two years recent clinical experience as an RN or instructor in last five years. Sacramento State offers a CCNE accredited baccalaureate program for generic and RN students, and Master’s program.
