The Department of Nursing at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania is seeking applicants for the following temporary faculty positions (AA #82-8-259 & 82-8-260) in the baccalaureate program: Full-time, temporary Medical/Surgical Nursing beginning August 2009 through May 2010. Rank: Instructor to Assistant Professor commensurate with education and experience. Primary responsibilities: Teach undergraduate courses in Medical/Surgical Nursing with clinical component in our accredited BSN program. Potential responsibility in other relevant areas including teaching general education courses.
Qualifications/Experiences:
Master’s degree required. Eligibility for Pennsylvania RN licensure is required. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations preferred. Finalists will be considered based upon their relevant teaching experience, scholarly activities, academic record, references, ability to communicate well, and successfully complete an interview process and teaching demonstration. Recommendation by the majority of the regular, full-time department faculty is needed for hiring.
