Job Description:
Bellevue Community College is currently seeking innovative educators who are dedicated to excellence in community college teaching to fill a full-time, tenure track Medical/Surgical Nursing Instructor position. BCC is a two-year public college located about ten miles east of Seattle, WA. BCC has received national recognition for its leadership and for its pioneering work in diversity.
The Instructor is responsible for teaching in the classroom, on-campus laboratory and clinical settings, and assessing student learning and program outcomes; providing leadership in continuous curriculum development, revision, and implementation; providing student advising; and assisting with establishing and maintaining clinical sites.
Qualified candidates will possess a Master’s degree in Nursing, a minimum of five years of recent clinical experience in an acute care nursing practice setting, a current Washington State RN license or be eligible for licensure. The candidate must also possess a current CPR card and be eligible for Washington State professional-technical vocational certification. Hiring is contingent upon the results of the Washington State Patrol Background Check.
