The Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Texas Christian University seeks candidates for a one year appointment as a lecturer in nursing. Candidates will teach in the BSN program. The MSN or a doctorate in nursing is required. Preference given to candidates with or pursuing doctoral degrees. Applicants with recently completed doctorates or MSN degrees are welcomed. Experience in teaching in a BSN program required. Educational preparation and clinical expertise in medical-surgical, critical care, psychiatric, public/community health, pediatric, or informatics nursing preferred. Experience in using simulation, reflective practice, and student centered learning is a plus. Candidates must be eligible for Texas RN licensure. Rank and salary are commensurate with education and experience. Position is dependent on budget approval with beginning date of Fall 2013.
