Job Description:
The University of Southern Maine's College of Nursing and Health Professions invites applications for two full-time, nine month faculty appointments within the School of Nursing (SON). Successful candidates must be able to teach across the undergraduate curriculum and within the candidate’s area of expertise. Expertise in adult health, pediatrics, or women’s health is preferred. The selected candidate will participate in teaching and engage in service to the University, community and profession. Appointment will be at the lecturer rank in a non tenure-track position.
Qualifications: Required: A completed or near completion Masters Degree in Nursing (master’s must be completed within one academic year for reappointment beyond initial year). Licensed or eligible for RN licensure in the state of Maine. Preferred: Clinical and classroom teaching experience in an acute care setting in adult, pediatric, or women’s health.
