BSN Program Chair
Lead a growing, innovative BSN program with strong foundations in the liberal arts. Begins July 1, 2010. Tenure-track or non-tenure-track,12-months. The BSN program serves > 200 of the school’s 525+ students. The chair reports directly to the dean.
ASN Program Chair
Lead an historic 2-year program uniquely housed in a university setting. Begins July 1, 2010. Tenure-track or non-tenure-track,12-months. The ASN program serves > 200 of the school’s 525+ students. The chair reports directly to the dean.
Qualifications: A masters degree in nursing, an earned doctorate, preferably in nursing, and a minimum 5 years teaching experience with progressive leadership responsibilities. The chair is a member of the administrative team and must be highly collaborative and communicative.
Responsibilities: This is a 50% teaching / 50% administrative position. Each chair is responsible for day-to-day leadership of the program including curriculum and faculty development, course schedule, faculty assignments, evaluations, clinical site negotiations, and accreditation.
