The College of Nursing and the Donald W. Reynolds Department of Geriatrics, University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, invites applications for an APRN with a joint position in the College of Nursing and Donald W. Reynolds Department of Geriatrics. This dynamic position is focused on teaching and clinical practice as a member of an Interprofessional team of geriatricians, social workers, geriatric psychologists and geriatric pharmacists. There are also opportunities for research and/or scholarly activities. Applicants must have a master’s degree or higher in nursing, with a doctorate in nursing or related field preferred. The APRN must be certified as an Adult/Gerontologic Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist; FNP’s, ANP’s and Adult CNS’s with experience in the care of older adults are also invited to apply. All applicants must be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in Oklahoma, be nationally certified as an APRN and have prescriptive authority. A compassionate, energetic team player with a passion for excellence in the care of older adults and a minimum of two years of experience in clinical practice is desired.
