The Department of Adult and Child Nursing is seeking applicants for two (2) Full-time Lecturer (FTL) positions for academic year 2013-2014. Primary responsibilities associated with one FTL include classroom and clinical agency instruction in acute-care adult nursing. Experience with simulation technology and use of simulation learning in the classroom is preferred. Additional responsibilities include student advisement and College of Nursing committee assignment.
The second FTL position is for an adult and/or gerontology nurse practitioner to teach primarily in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. The ideal candidate will have current clinical experience as an NP in a community or acute care setting with teaching experience in an academic setting. Massachusetts licensure or eligibility required. Minimum of a Master’s degree in nursing required, DNP preferred or intent to complete a post-Master’s DNP.
The College of Nursing is one of five colleges at the university, with an enrollment of over 600 students which includes basic and RN-BSN undergraduates as well as graduate students. All programs are fully accredited by the NLNAC through 2014.
