The College of Nursing at Nova Southeastern University is inviting applications for a full-time Faculty position, BSN level. Successful candidate will be responsible for teaching nursing students, along with the supervision of students at clinical training facilities, imparting cognitive, affective and psychomotor skills appropriate for the practice of professional nursing. Potential for scholarly productivity including articles in referred journals, invited presentations, paper and/or poster presentations at state and regional meetings; active participation in professional nursing organizations at local and state levels; active nursing professional experience to practice in the State of Florida. Appointment to the rank of professor requires a record of distinguished scholarship and outstanding teaching ability, evidenced by recognized professional productivity in the field(s) of specialization. Appointment to the rank of associate professor normally requires a record of substantial success in teaching, scholarship, and service. Appointment to the rank of assistant professor requires completion of professional training, which in most disciplines will be a terminal degree (usually the earned doctorate), and the clear promise of a successful career in teaching, scholarship, and service.
