The University of Central Missouri Department of Nursing is currently seeking applicants for one tenure-track and one non-tenure-track faculty positions. The University of Central Missouri main campus is located near Highways 50 and 13, approximately 35 miles east of the Kansas City metropolitan area. A second campus is located near 50 Highway and Chipman Rd. in Lee’s Summit, MO. The University offers both undergraduate and graduate CCNE accredited nursing programs. Applicants for the tenure-track position (#998389) must hold a doctorate or be pursuing a doctorate in nursing or related field, hold a Master’s degree in Nursing, and have 2 years Medical-Surgical nursing experience within the last 5 years. Special consideration will be given to candidates with online teaching experience and experience in clinical supervision of baccalaureate students. Applicants interested in a non-tenure-track position (#998391) must hold a Master’s degree in Nursing and have 2 years nursing experience within the last 5 years. Special consideration will be given to candidates with previous teaching experience especially in nursing skills laboratory coordination and simulation. A current, active RN license with eligibility for licensure in Missouri is required.
