James Madison University (JMU) is pleased to announce the expansion of our BSN program and the initiation of our Doctor of Nursing Practice program. We invite applications for faculty positions. The department currently has tenure and non-tenure track positions in pediatrics, women’s health, psychiatric, community health, and adult health. Additional faculty positions are available: the DNP program coordinator position and a DNP faculty position.
Program Faculty (0404578)
- Master’s degree in Nursing required; Doctorate strongly recommended
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice
- Competency in instructional technology and nursing education
- Classroom and practicum teaching at undergraduate and/or graduate program levels
- Professional, department and university service
DNP Faculty (0404577)
- Doctorate in Nursing
- Three or more years of clinical practice experience
- Experience in practice and nursing education
DNP Coordinator (0404576)
- Doctorate in Nursing
- Graduate Teaching Experience
- Demonstrated academic leadership and organizational skills
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: RN registration and eligibility for Virginia license are required.
RANK AND SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
