Job Description:
The University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, College of Nursing and Health Sciences is seeking applicants for full-time tenure track faculty positions beginning in 2010. Excellent opportunities for research, leadership, clinical practice and professional development are available. Engaged teams of students and faculty conduct research through the University student-faculty collaborative research program. The nursing department offers CCNE-accredited BSN and MSN programs, an accelerated second degree program, and a statewide collaborative BSN completion program. A Doctorate in Nursing Practice program will be launched the summer of 2010. Expertise is preferred in the following areas: Behavioral Health, Leadership/Administration, Acute Care, Nursing Foundations, Maternal/Child Health, Advanced Clinical Practice with Adult Nurse Practitioner Certification.
Master’s degree in nursing and doctorate or substantial progress toward a doctorate is required for faculty positions. Applicants must have RN licensure in the US and be eligible for RN licensure in WI, with WI RN license required by start of contract.
